See towering sandstone cliffs of the Hawkesbury River & Sydney rock oyster farming. Enjoy morning tea stop (own cost) enroute to Port Stephens. Arriving at Williamtown, commence your 4WD trip to the stunningly beautiful 'Desert by the Sea' sand dunes.

Travel to Stockton beach, search for pipis (Australian clams). See how Aboriginal people found water in this arid environment. Leave the beach & travel through Port Stephens for lunch at a spectacular local restaurant. Fresh seafood is on today's menu. Relax overlooking the picturesque marina.

After lunch enjoy a highlight of Australia - join the dolphin watch cruise into the calm waters of the bay. The expert crew brings pods of wild dolphins into view. On warm days, swimming in the baots special boom nets may be possible and you'll get even closer to the dolphins!

Departing Port Stephens, return to the Pacific Freeway and on to Sydney, arriving back at your hotels is around 6.30pm.
